Stephen trained at Mountview and his professional debut was in Les Miserables (Palace Theatre) playing Enjolras. He has sung in a wide variety of Concerts and on numerous recordings, including performances with The WestEnders & The Masters of The House in the UK & internationally. Stephen played the title role in the 1999 cast of Martin Guerre (Cameron Mackintosh) also on the cast recording. 

Other theatre work includes Jerry Springer-The Opera (BAC, London); Woman in White (Sydmonton Festival); Harry/Young Ebenezer opposite Shane Richie in Scrooge (UK Tour), The Producers (Theatre Royal Drury Lane / UK Tour) playing Roger DeBris, and more recently in the UK Tour of 42nd Street, and was a semi-finalist in ‘Britain’s Got Talent 2013’ as part of the musical Chasing The Dream. Stephen also works with Capital Voices, Maida Vale Singers & Metro Voices as a session singer, soloist & backing vocalist on numerous soundtracks and albums, and could also be heard on the recent BBC1 “Strictly Come Dancing” Movies broadcast.
