Originally from Ireland, Sharon trained at DIT's Conservatory of Music and Drama in Dublin and enjoys a diverse career as a musical theatre performer, concert singer and cabaret artist. Following her West End debut in the smash hit musical "The Commitments", Sharon has completed a UK tour of Barry Manilow's "Copacabana", playing the role of Conchita and has just begun a contract on the award winning West End favourite,  "Billy Elliot" where she will be playing the role of Lesley/ cover Billy's Mum.

Sharon is currently the lead singer with the mowtown sould band "The Reflections" who play throughout London. She was leading lady of one of Ireland's top entertainment groups "Rhtyhm Culture", famous for their contemporary, uptempo set lists, for several years. Sharon is widely experienced in hosting and performing at a range of different private and corporate events, which has seen her travel to perform throughout Europe.

She is most notably recognised for her award winning portrayal of Liza Minnelli in the highly acclaimed one woman show, Somewhere Under The Rainbow (Olympia Theatre, Irish National Tour and Edinburgh Fringe Festival) which made it's London debut last May and will tour the UK in 2015. 

Other theatre credits to date include Yellow Girl in Shout!, Fairy Godmother in Cinderella (Gaiety), Anglo The Musical (Irish premiere, Grand Canal Theatre), Nancy in Oliver! (Festival productions, National Concert Hall), the title role of Jane Eyre (Irish premiere), I-Keano (Olympia Theatre, National Tour), Lucy in Jekyll and Hyde, Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, Lily St.Regis in Annie (National Concert Hall) and The Biggest Adventure in the World (Barnstorm Theatre Company, National Tour).

Sharon has worked extensively as an entertainer and cabaret artist throughout Europe and has also performed as a soloist with the Irish National Concert Orchestra. In 2013, she played the lead role of Shannon in the new original musical Irish which was filmed at The Wexford Opera House for transmission on PBS America later this year.
